Agreement
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's a shame, and you should stop using the site. These terms are a legal agreement between you and The Dancing Gringo Tequila Co. ("we," "us," "our").
Who this is for
This site, and everything on it, is intended for people of legal drinking age — 21 and over in the United States. By using the site you confirm you're of legal age in your location. The age gate isn't decoration.
Using the site
You may browse the site, read our correspondence, join the list, and use the forms as they're plainly intended. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or any connected system.
- Interfere with the site's operation — no scraping at scale, no denial-of-service antics, no injecting anything nasty into our forms.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Reverse-engineer the recipe from context clues. You won't find it, but we admire the ambition.
Intellectual property
The name, logo, wordmark, artwork, photography, copy, and general deadpan spirit of The Dancing Gringo are ours (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or make derivative works from any of it without our written permission. Enjoying it is encouraged; lifting it is not.
Your submissions
When you send us something through a form on this site — an email signup, a contact message, a Field Correspondent application, or a territory nomination — you're giving us permission to store it and use it for the purpose it was submitted (replying to you, telling you about cans, tallying where cans should go). You confirm that what you submit is accurate, that it's yours to send, and that it isn't unlawful or infringing. How we handle that data is covered in our privacy policy.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of the occasional typo written at 2 a.m. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Dancing Gringo Tequila Co. and its people won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) this site. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us to access the site — which, this being a marketing site, is zero.
Links to other sites
We link out to a few third parties (a map, a "drink responsibly" resource, our email provider). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their own terms. Follow them at your discretion.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version appears on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We won't get clever about it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [TBD], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located there.
